Easter time...

Easter is about family... so thats where we go... off to Nicktown and back to Johnstown and if we could fit all the other places our family is,we would.... Anyone that could not be with us was missed...the ones hours away and the ones in heaven... Its about traditions and lots of pictures so the ones that couldnt be with us can share in on the day... We ate LOTs of ham and our favorite Hrudka.... even Chase "loved" it this year... and enough horseradish to clear out my sinuous till next year... I love to see the flowers popping up everywhere telling us that spring is here....
Im so glad that all the kids still want to color eggs... we used a tie dye kit and silly monsters... but really all they want to do it stick it in the colored water.... we added dye and did some interesting things with the food coloring...

We found that if you wet the egg in a glass of water with vinegar then took it out and dropped the food coloring on it .... this is what we got...



The Easter bunny this year decided to bring the kids more snack stuff then candy... which the kids did not mind...
As you can tell my Chase's face he loved his Oreos.... Also they got glass bottles of crush soda "cause its neat to drink like they did back then" .....
We started off Easter at my moms... It was pretty quiet .... Shelley and Sam were home in Hughesville... Tom and his family were visiting Andy in Annapolis ....

I only have one other picture with my mom from 2yrs ago so I wanted a new one...

Me and my little girl that will be 14 this month....

After Nicktown we headed to the Karalfas for a visit with Chas's family.....
This is the only way to eat pie.....
Then for a easter egg hunt at Baba's

Finally over to Di's for her an Susie's annual pick a egg hunt.. each kid, youngest to oldest picks one egg.... after all the eggs are done they open to see what they got and who got the BIG prize.... and the egg goes too...... Logan!!

School Projects

Charles project was to write about a book that he liked and draw a picture of it....
Chase wrote about the Titanic.... if you didnt know he LOVES the Titanic....

Ashton's school project was to make a person out of soda bottle.... he was given the person and we had to come up with a plan to make a it look like George Washington... Thank goodness I have collected lots of fabric and other things...

Spring Party....

Charles had his Spring party at school and I was incharge of the craft.... They had a Easter egg hunt out side at the playground.. What a beautiful day to be outside..







It was my job this year to do the craft for Chase's party so thanks to my mom we came up with this.... a flower windsock.... so fun and pretty and so easy....

Fun in the snow

Its amazing how beautiful snow can be.... soft fluffy... ya till you have 2 ft of it......

Skip got to venture out for a bit... really couldnt make it anywhere because the snow what higher then her...
